Sarah Sudhoff Joins Houston Center for Photography

Sarah Sudhoff, former photo editor of Time magazine, has been named the new executive director of the Houston Center for Photography. Sudhoff, who begins her new job on January 5, 2015, replaces Bevin Bering Dubrowski, who transitioned to a creative director position in July.

A graduate of the University of Texas, Austin, and Parsons the New School for Design, Sudhoff founded Photohive in San Antonio in 2013, a nonprofit organization that enables students to propose, curate, and participate in photography exhibitions. Sudhoff is also a fine art photographer who has taught at a number of institutions, including the University of Texas, San Antonio, and the Art Institute of San Antonio, among others.
