New Photo Gallery in Williamsburg

Williamsburg, Brooklyn, has a new six month gallery project devoted to contemporary photography, Simon/Neuman2  Gallery. Its inaugural exhibition, opening with a reception Thursday, March 20, from 6 to 8 pm, is the group show On its Way,with work by Israeli photographer David Adika, Brooklyn-based Swedish artist Pablo Frisk, and American artist Susan Morelock. 

Simon/Neuman2 will feature emerging and established artists from around the world. The gallery’s owner and director is Aviva Neuman, whose parents established the Simon/Neuman Gallery on New York’s Upper East Side in 1985, exhibiting such artists as William Kentridge and James Bishop, and works from the Bauhaus period.
