The 2014 Baum Award for an Emerging American Photographer has been presented to Jaime Warren, a photographer and performance artist based in Brooklyn, NY, and Kansas City, MO. Her work, often involving self-portraiture as well as a host of collaborators, explores identity in the context of pop culture, art history, and the Internet. SF Camerawork will host an exhibition of Warren’s work from April 30 to June 21.

Warren is also the co-director and co-creator of Whoop De Doo, a variety show that hosts live, free shows and workshops in the community and for underserved youth groups.
