“For 40 years, I’ve been fighting for photography,” says Minneapolis dealer Martin Weinstein.  He's collected photography for decades, established the Weinstein Gallery in 1996 in Minneapolis, and over the years has donated more than 500 works to the Minneapolis Art Institute. Now the Institute is recognizing Weinstein and his contributions over the years with an exhibition, 31 Years: Gifts from Martin Weinstein, opening November 2.  The 70 photographs selected for the show include images by Ansel Adams, Robert Mapplethorpe, Alec Soth and Margaret Bourke-White, among many others.
