Auction to Benefit Christian Aid

In honor of the 70th anniversary of the U.K.-based organization Christian Aid, ten established photojournalists have each donated a print to be auctioned online. The sale is open from November 6 through November 20, and each print was taken on assignment with Christian Aid.

In addition, each photographer has selected seven of his or her favorite images from assignments overseas to be included in an online gallery in order to raise awareness of Christian Aid’s work.

Christian Aid aims to tackle the effects as well as the root causes of poverty worldwide. Auction bids can be placed through direct links from the images on www.christianaidphotounit.zenfolio.com to the Paddle8 website.

The full set of ten Photographers’ prints being auctioned include work by Sebastião Salgado, Don McCullin, Tom Stoddart, Tim Hetherington, Mike Goldwater, Gideon Mendel, Stuart Franklin, Chris Steele-Perkins, Olivia Arthur, and Anastasia Taylor-Lind.
